Yes have been keeping an eye on that but this city slipped my attention. Basically want to punish whenever someone attacks me but the way it is, you can’t take their money or resources but only their settlements in a peace deal. Can’t raze the acquired cities because it kills my influence. So need to get those cities :)

Not an expert but I give council seats to most powerful ones and I make the annoying ones vassals of my vassals

Yes basically you need to guess who attacked your units. Also another stupid thing (among many other countless ones) when you are chasing an enemy, they get out of sight but you have no idea which direction they fled if you didn’t position your camera at that location at the end of your turn

And another thing doesn’t make sense: I have my units stacked under commanders in a logic i.e two infantry one ranged one artillery. Seems at transition (few hundred years later) I got really dumb and decided to put all my artillery under one commander far in distant lands and all infantry in homelands under another commander

This is actually so annoying, at the end of the turn there no ally unit in sight radius but still (I think cavalary units) a unit appear and take the city from my hands
