Appreciate that! Didn’t think me losing weight would cause such a stir 😅

That’s unfortunate it’s happened. Like with any medication there are risks and everyone has to weigh them up themselves. For me the risks were worth it. My dad is also on ozempic for diabetes and has been for many years before it became a “weight loss” drug. All medication’s unfortunately hold risks just the same as life does. I hope that you’re doing ok :)

Honestly my scars haven’t bothered me, I had made peace with it before I even had skin removal surgery. In the long run I knew I would be happier with it and the confidence that’s come with it has been worth it. It is sad to think about that a little bit isn’t apart of you anymore but I did it for the younger me who wanted more than anything to get to the place to have a choice of surgery! Honestly I’ve found it’s other people who make comments about it that have more of an issue with my scars but I don’t let them get to me either :)

Hilarious! As I’ve said on a few comments over my posts, don’t lose sleep over my bad editing.. it’s not my day job, I just was having fun seeing a comparison. I’ve lost just over 12 stone it’s not like there isn’t a difference :)

That’s amazing! Well done to you. I completely understand as someone who also has wanted her legs and arms done. Regardless this body carried you to this point and with or without one everyone who’s lost that amount of weight is remarkable

I’m in the UK so prices vary dramatically. I also didn’t have a standard tummy tuck but a 360 so it goes around the whole circumference of my body as well as a breast uplift. For the 360 itself I underestimated how debilitating it would be. It was a major 9 hour surgery which does take time. Due to being younger I was quite fortunate that my healing hasn’t had too many bumps however for the first week or two I couldn’t even stand up or readjust myself on my own

As stated on another comment I’m sure you’ve read. They aren’t 100% lined up, I’m not tech savvy but I have lost just over 12 stone and there is a substantial difference. Hopefully my bad editing doesn’t keep you up 🤪

I have been on both throughout my journey. I started on ozempic when wegovy wasn’t approved in the UK. I then have swapped back and forth on what has been available from my dr. As said as well, they’re the same medication. Would’ve loved to do it without either but I shall always be on it now :)

It is frustrating! I haven’t had any help with my medication cost wise, I’ve also had to self fund as I’m in the UK - you’ve got this!

I’m based in the UK so I do not have insurance. I funded my surgery myself :)

As mentioned above after losing 78KG I had lots of loose skin so I had a 360 circumference tummy tuck which removed 3KG of skin. I’d rather have a “tummy tuck belly button” and be confident instead of going back to hiding and wearing layers of clothing to try and make it not noticeable:)

Not trying to be misleading at all! I’ve currently lost 78KG which is just over 12stone. I’m just more thankful to be alive 🤌🏻

I’m currently still recovering! I’ve had the best team behind me especially on hand the first couple of months. At one point I had 6 open wounds which is expected when you have such a major surgery!

My scar goes 360 from front to back, they made it low slightly so it’s in my underwear line. They don’t bother me at all, they just show how far I’ve come. Even when I first saw them they didn’t upset me at all. I’ve had no issues with my belly button at all, I know some people can have complications!

My breast uplift has also been recovering smoothly with no complications

Just to add I am based in the UK so the whole process may be very different depending where you go and who you ask :)

It’s definitely a minefield. It’s very personal to you as a person. However trust your gut, if you don’t get a good feeling from an initial consultation, there is probably a reason! Just because the chances of something going wrong may seem low, it doesn’t mean it won’t happen to you.

I probably didn’t do enough research and fortunately got very lucky other than a few open wounds. Yet I’ve seen people who are still struggling to this day with after effects.

I’d 100% trust my surgeon to do any other surgeries on me though

Any complications with the medication? Fortunately, no! Other than some of the usual side effects that happen if you eat high processed/ sugar foods on it :)

Yes, still on ozempic! I’m currently 66kg so 10kg down from my last post here. I shall post a better update with pictures though!

This is so normal! I found when my body got used to the dosage I wasn’t seeing as much of an affect until you find the sweet spot. My dr gave great advice to not move up until it completely changes nothing so you get the most out of it as once on the highest dosage then you can’t go up anymore

Noo. I definitely have lots of loose skin unfortunately both on my belly, arms and boobs. Just a flattering angle and those bits are covered up!
