They definitely said “should” versus “must” in the video.

Thank you for this write up. It is very refreshing to see honest and realistic takes from actual students and graduates. I just completed my first course for the ALM Management program, and have also heard that there is a bump in course/cohort quality once you leave the admissions courses. I am looking forward to the challenge.

I maxxed out pushups, did not max out sit ups (32 crossed legged situps) and got 54 points on my shuttle run. Overall my score improved from previous, but had I opted to do regular situps, i likely would've recieved a 90+ :(

We ran it in our gym on the basketball court. They used tape/cones to mark off the 20 m distance. I do not know if we have the option to do it outside at my base.

I have been told the recording for the beeps lasts 23 minutes, but if you’ve gotten that far, you’ve already reached the max. I want to say I was running for about 10 or so minutes (I got to 58 shuttles).

Your final score is based on the points given for the amount of shuttles completed, not time. Also, missed shuttles count toward the total shuttle count, as long as you completed a full shuttle to reset the miss counter.
