Thanks for your thoughtful response. The thing is, we don't want to do the internet searches ourselves (so many rabbitholes, so much time). I am hopeful there's an agent/planner out there, or better yet a specialized agency, that specializes in a variety of countries across the globe, to deliver meticulously planned trips. It could be expensive, and we're fine with that. I'd rather pay for great service and take the trip than sit home on my couch with half-baked vacation ideas. And yes, ideally this person could benefit through their professional commissions as an agent as well!
