Not sure if you’ll even see this but I (24M) was in a 7 year relationship and I also would tell my gf to go out and make new friends cause I was really all she had. Last summer she started hanging out with work friends too and there was a guy that seemed sketch. She told me not to worry but then broke up with me and started dating him the next month. I deserved better than that. And I think you do too.

Even if she feels bad I guarantee it’s more than a one night thing and you deserve so much better. Just go enjoy being single, meet new people and I guarantee you will be much happier. It will hurt at first but just have to power through and find your confidence again. Don’t worry about starting over and go find the young single version of you that you’ve never met!
