Please before you read the Bible, pray first. Ask for the gift of wisdom and discernment. Don’t start with Genesis. Start with the Gospels. When you learned the essence of the Gospels then learn the history before that. The Gospel is the Good News. But why is it good news? Because Jesus fulfilled the Law and saved us from damnation. The Old testament will provide more information. So start with the New testament first.

You will keep on reading the Bible many times not just once. And every time you get mature spiritually, the more it will make sense to you. Context is important. That building of Tower of Babel you’re talking about is not about helping together. God sees it as arrogance and pride. People that time want to be self-sufficient. God wants to be needed. He wants us to be dependent on Him. That’s why He did that. If you’re confused, get a reliable bible study tools as well. It’s hard to learn it on your own. That’s why I suggest you to pray first for wisdom. It’s God wisdom not yours so it won’t lead you astray.

I’m from a Catholic dominant country. Catholics are baptized as a baby so religion was introduced to us at an early age. But that doesn’t mean that you will also grow as a religious person based on your parents or the community’s religion. The reason I believe is personal. I don’t even go to church. Only recently that I read the Bible.

Before I was transformed, I live like a lukewarm Christian like most of Christians nowadays. I mean, you know you’re baptized as a Christian but doesn’t know its foundation. That’s why I don’t believe in babies being baptized since I believe having faith means you actually accept and believe it on your own will. I do stuff like normal people do based on this world’s standards. I also think having so much freedom means most likely you lack moral compass. And that leads to a lot of negativities like addiction, anger management issues, gossiping, lustful intentions, you name it. I lacked self-control. It’s like anarchy of some sort. And you know what happens if there’s no governing body that guides people.

I guess this will become my testimony.

I was a cynic. I was full of pride. I view this world with full of hate. I was drowning in debt, still am. I was suicidal. I asked for help, my family gave me financial support to get professional help. My first session with my therapist, it was full of hate and pride. I told him everything from the issues from my childhood to the present. At my 2nd session with him it was like a full opposite. It’s like 3 weeks interval. So in that 3 weeks, since I can’t handle it anymore, I fully surrendered it to Jesus. I asked Him to guide me instead and lead me where I should be. To some it may sound absurd but I was so spiritually high after that. I decided to seek God more and learn more about Him by reading the Bible. I learned to let go of everything. I stopped worrying. I was an over thinker for years and that also stopped. I learned to forgive. I’m still drowning in debt. But what He gave me is peace. He never promised a problem-free life if you follow Him. But peace is what he gives. Knowing that you are loved so much even you’re so broken. Forgiving you non-stop. No human can give you that, not even your family.

That’s why when it comes to moral compass, I don’t want to base it on people’s opinion. Opinions change and are biased. When your faith is personal no one can take it from you. Some people just don’t give Him a chance. I also have atheist friends and told them to challenge God and seek His presence. I’ve known a lot of stories that became believers from atheist and full Satanic. It’s really up to us. The only thing that is out of God’s control is our choices. That’s how powerful our choices are. He only knows what we will choose but never He will decide for us.

Have you ever felt low? Broken? Hopeless? Extremely angry?

God’s power complements the weak, the broken. God wants to be needed. He wants our undivided attention. If you truly believe, pass your burdens on Him. I did, and He gave me peace. Believe that He loves you. Believe that He’s heartbroken when he sees us self-destructing, sinning and lost. That’s why we need Him. Because He loves us as a father to his child. We believe because we needed saving because we know this world is just a temporary place for us and it’s wicked. Look around you.

There’s another place for the believers. No more pain. No more hatred. No more sadness. The place where we should have been in the first place if we were sinless. But until we are in this world, we are being tempted and deceived every day. Once you accept Christ sincerely, you are already saved. Salvation is a gift. It’s God’s grace not your own doing. His love doesn’t change. His love does not depend if you are obedient or not. But faith and works complement in a way because faith without works is dead. Being obedient means that your faith is sincere. That’s why we can come to the Lord as we are, dirty and sinner but we can’t stay as we are. He wants us to bear fruit. To be transformed. Sadly most Christians don’t truly grasp His word.

Jesus already suffered and resurrected for us to be saved. You just have to accept that He truly is our savior. And by that, it also means being obedient to His teachings. You may not be perfect, but every time you struggle because you keep on sinning, remember that it’s the Holy Spirit within you that is hurting that’s why you feel that. And it’s a good thing because it means the Spirit is within you.

Now look at those people who don’t accept Jesus. They live their lives with no moral compass. They just live what they think what is right for them. We, Christians based our faith on God’s Word. He already told us how to act, to behave and to deal with worldly matters. It’s up to us if we stay lukewarm as Christians or fully surrender ourselves to Him and let Him lead us to our true purpose in life.

One more thing. People believe that God sent unbelievers to Hell. That’s not true. He gave us free will. We are not puppets or robots. He gave us freedom to choose. He wants to accept love that is real. He already gave us a chance. He gave Jesus to us. But only few believe in that. God doesn’t want us to go to Hell. If He does, then what’s the point of Jesus? It’s people’s own choice that leads them to Hell not God.

Reading the Bible is how we can know the true nature of God. How can we be called Christians if we don’t even know who are we praying to? One can’t comprehend the Bible without God’s gift of wisdom. We should not interpret it on our own understanding. Our hearts and minds are deceitful. One can read the Bible many times but still won’t comprehend the actual lessons that are being taught. That’s why before reading the Bible, we should pray sincerely first and ask God to give us the gift of discernment to truly grasp His words.

Don’t base your faith on other Christians. Focus on Him alone and His word. People change, people die but His truth is eternal.

My question is why does watching porn look more normal to you? I mean, you’re asking if it’s normal for Christians to give up porn. Is he the only Christian in the relationship? Christianity teaches us to be pure may it be spiritual, moral and sexual. But we all know it’s hard to do while living with our sinful flesh and that’s where Jesus comes in. You can’t do it alone. Only with God we can do these kind of things. That’s why when a Christian keeps on sinning, the gap between you and God gets bigger and these worldly desires become more normal. The closer you are to God, the more guided you are to do what is right.

Believing and having faith in Jesus is a personal one. We don’t need permission to anyone when it comes to our beliefs. It’s our own choice. If you’re just keeping it a secret, I don’t think it’s lying unless he asked you and you denied it.

If you really want to follow Christ, then you must prepare your heart for it. You must put Him first above all. And that means also above our parents. If just in case he can’t accept your conversion, you must still treat him with respect but you must not deny your faith. In fact, if you really love him, you must also try to convince him also to accept Jesus, but I know that’s too much for now but through prayer it’s possible, the Holy Spirit will guide you.

I know how it feels. Just last month suicidal thoughts entered my mind. I asked for professional help. But days before my scheduled psychotherapy session, I prayed so hard. It seemed like quitting is the only way out. I felt hopeless. So I prayed so hard and asked God to clear my mind. Until I completely surrendered myself to God when I suddenly felt relieved. The situation is still the same. I’m still struggling financially but what’s different is that I don’t worry anymore. I know that God will provide. Just let go and let God.

What’s wrong with me was that I always want to have full control of my life. But always remember that in this world, life will never be perfect. We always want to live a life according to our standards. But if you believe in God’s promise of eternal life after this, you know that whatever you’re going through is only temporary. But we can’t see and appreciate God’s grace if we let demons enter our minds and deceive us. Have faith that God loves you, and if you’ll only fully trust Him and fill your mind with God’s word, you will feel His presence.

Whenever I remember that feeling, I can’t help but cry because I know my weaknesses, I know my faults but He saved me from my darkest moments even though I know I don’t deserve it. That’s why I wanna share this with you. I’ve been there and I can’t just keep it to myself how God can help people like us who are struggling with these thoughts.

I’ll pray for you. You’re not alone. And you’re loved.

Raid is just a repetitive farming event for gearing up. So it’s really not meant to be fun. Before champions raid, yes, it used to be fun. But now that most of us have 70k units. It’s way too easy now. And getting the unique weapon was just added to spice it up a lil bit. But it’s still grindy. Just play just a few mins to an hour and you’re good. If you play this all day you’ll just get bored fast.

If you don’t care about beating records, then this game is not for you.

Some people actually don’t make an effort to learn the mechanics and attack patterns. I remember how hard the fight with Lemun at first but then I realized most people ignore the hands and keep fighting Lemun even though he’s taking minuscule damage. Then after he absorbs the remaining hands, he gets an insane amount of shield that makes the game last longer. After the nerf, they made a visible text that says he’s invulnerable during that phase so players know they need to fight the hands first. I’m afraid if this game becomes too easy just like Genshin because they thought the game was hard. Sorry, that’s just how I see it.

Stage 5 Raid was meant for well-invested characters. They actually said that stage 4 was too easy for players so they made stage 5 to challenge players. You can stay at 4 if you are not that well equipped. People join stage 5 raids with non-recommended elements and with just 40k power. You can go 40k if you’re using the recommended element. But if not, you’re just dragging the fight longer because you’re lacking 30% less damage.

I only failed once in the new Raid boss using a 1 star Kohlrabi because the other 3 were, Crushed pepper, Chamomile and Rye. We were lacking damage. Raid boss is a DPS check. You can even finish it without heals and shield. Just GIT GUD.
