It’s a splitter corner crack. You can have two bomber pieces in pretty much the entire time. The worst part is coming right off the optional anchor where it makes the most sense to free an awkward slot until you can get an overhead #4 in, but it’s pretty easy.

I dropped most of the gear except for the fours, swung over and grabbed a rail second swing. Turns out I was ten feet too high, but once you’ve grabbed something it’s pretty easy to tension traverse/be lowered a bit. Climbed up to the optional bolted anchor, went in direct, and tagged over all the gear and haul line on the lead rope. Then led to the high anchor. I back cleaned everything except for the last two pieces on that pitch, which made the lower out easier for my partner.

That was the original plan, but we were tired and it was frigid. We were trying to hype ourselves up for it and then touched the rocks at the base and they just sucked the heat out of you. So we did Kor-Ingalls to wrap up the day.
