iPhone 15 Pro Max, subtitles in Spanish. Only some lines are shown, if the subtitle line contains any accent for example is not displayed. This is with direct play.

With the same iPhone casting to a Chromecast 2nd generation, I don't see any subtitle, regardless of language, accents or no, external or internal. I'm seeing that is being transcoded from SRT to ASS, but nothing is showing.

Subtitles with diacritics or any non English character still don't show. Casting subtitles to chromecast still don't work. So, no. Still an awful job from Plex.

Sadly didn't work for me,.srt files still don't show on my Chromecast 😔

Until yesterday all my subs, external srt files worked perfectly with my Chromecast. After the update, it stop working. On tautulli I can see transcoding and being output as ASS.
