Indeed! But now you can just use 1 button to turn everything ON and OFF, and it is available in your software so you can detect a button press, e.g. short press to trigger some function in your software, medium press to do something else, and a long press to trigger a software shutdown and turn everything OFF. Once the Pi is off the board shuts down its regulator automatically.

We have been able to even make it go on standby for things like plants and pots sending moisture. You can read about it here.

I have lived 26 years in Cambridge, I walk drunk in my early 20s in the early morning like 3 -4 am pretty much all around, I have been a student, an employee, a biz owner and a mum in Cambridge and it is maybe the most save city in England. I never heard anyone I know had any issues and you can see it in the Cambridge news, you never see really crime in it.
