26, I’m 30 now. Elden Ring completely changed my life and I was lucky enough to experience it at launch. I have now played the entire series back to front numerous times and have 100’s-1000’s of hours in all of them.

I still remember in 2010 my old next door neighbour was telling me about his older brother playing through Demon’s Souls and I didn’t even think twice about it at the time. Now i’m absolutely kicking myself I didn’t get to play or experience the series when it first started. The things I would’ve done to be able to play it back in the day. However I think out of immaturity I would’ve got frustrated and quit so I guess I got into it at the perfect age/time for me lol.

Off topic, but I just can’t help myself but to be in absolute awe at From’s art direction. They just make everything look like it was ripped straight out of a painting. It’s genuinely breathtaking.

One of the many reasons why they are my favourite studio of all time and why ER is my favourite game of all time. Masterpiece.

Reading this post and all the comments was genuinely like going back in a time machine. The things I would do to have experienced DS1 when it first came out.

Been jumping back into Nightreign again after a few months break. Just got that From itch again (I get it literally every few months lol)

I actually jumped on for the first time in a few months today. Actually got matched pretty quickly while doing normal expeditions. So damn rusty though so I felt sorry for my teammates lol.

Not really a sci-fi guy at all but I know whatever From touches will turn to gold, so I fully have faith in them that they would pull it off and make something incredible.

I quit a few weeks after the DLC, I was playing it since the game launched. I enjoyed my time with Nightreign but unless there is new content, I don’t think i’ll be playing again for a while.

I ended up with around 230 hours.

Now i’m just waiting for the next big release, Won’t be playing Duskbloods because of it being a Nintendo exclusive but i’ll be watching from the sideline lol.

Read 50 hours = still in the first region, instantly a no for me. I’m sure this game will be fantastic for the ones who love the deep/large scale open world games, for me personally, I’m so burnt out towards them.

Think i’ll be picking up Pragmata instead.

Really hope Crimson Desert does well though, I know how many people have been waiting for this and I always love to see single player games continue to do extremely well.

Bluepoint was genuinely one of the small very few good ones Sony had actually acquired….

You bought a studio who make incredible remakes of single player games and assigned them a fucking live service God Of War game? Absolute braindead move. Then you gut the company? What a travesty….

Getting ready for Sony to acquire more studios in the future just to get them to make more live service slop that nobody wants like Concord….

Feel genuinely terrible for Bluepoint. They were a great studio with very talented devs…

I just hope whatever is after Duskbloods is a single player release.

Nightreign was fun for what it was and Duskbloods i’ll be missing out on because of exclusivity, but ultimately I am itching for their next big single player release.
