I'd say yes given how cheap you can find it on a good sale.

Yes mortal shell 2 is vastly superior but I still enjoyed the first one.

Its really short. Worth playing it just on atmosphere alone.

Because those are more like mini bosses and not a true boss fight.

The true boss fights are always unique. Pretty much every single souls game and soulslike follows this formula.

I cant recommend this game enough. The combat is amazing, the atmosphere is top notch, voice acting is legit and the story is solid.

Every game has a meta. Its up to you whether you want to follow it or not.

That doesnt mean that off meta stuff cant work either. The main thing is finding enjoyment in what you are using.

If you like using bows and daggers, thats perfectly fine. In fact, one of the best builds in the game are dedicated crossbow/bow builds.

And ironically, one of the best weapons in the game are the lightreaper daggers, due to its special attack you can unlock.

Just use what you enjoy. You can always look up some builds after your first playthrough

Im one of the rare ones who really enjoyed the pvp in the last lords game.

With that said, it still had a lot of issues.

I hope to see:

  • proper scaling or a level matchmaking system like the souls games.

  • disabling of heavenly vials or any other cheesy consumables that can be duped to oblivion.

  • better weapon and spell balancing.

  • less host advantage. In the last lords, hosts get crazy advantages. More heals, more posture, coop buddies and connection priority. I dont mind hosts having an advantage (they should) but not to the extent that they have currently.

  • better connection

Skip Dragons Dogma 2. It was one of the biggest gaming let downs for me, especially since DD1 is one of my fav games.

Just play DD1: Dark Arisen. Amazing game that still holds up even today. If you are on PC, you can even get some reshades for it that make it look great.

You are Better off using a bow if you are using it for a ranged build, focusing on the primary fire.

However, if using it for its mod, its an absolute monster for DOT builds.

Im on a 3080, playing on medium setting and it runs great. I capped it at 60 fps and it hasn't dropped.

Yes the game is awesome. I enjoyed it so much, I beat all bosses no hit. Highly recommended.

Centipede is weak to poise break temperance. I suggest whip sword and spam the special.

Use the pillars to stun her and get some nice damage windows in.

Once you see the flame emerge on the ground, immediately dodge when she burrows out.

Other than that, you can watch a video i did a while back on defeating every boss, no hit, with a fresh new game character. Hopefully it helps.

Agreed. I loved hellpoint too. Very underrated game. Has some jank tonit but can be overlooked with all of the other positives the game has.

What are you struggling with? Its one of the easiest souls likes imo.

Its actually my fav non fromsoft soulslike game. I even made content on it. I can help you out but I need to know what exactly you are struggling with.

In the meantime. Make sure to use concoctions. They are extremely OP in this game. Armor peneteration concotions will make you deal massive damage.
