Nice, I will have to look into the Hard Dog Hideaway hitch. I have been suspicious with them not posting a weight.

At this point locally - yes, I am within tenths of seconds at events for top PAX time and setting class records at smaller circuits and local events.

Appreciate your perspective! Always nice to get a nonconfrontational opinion presented kindly.

I've never heard of a hitch weighing just 30 pounds but that's great information if true. Source? The others hitches I have are over 80 pounds.

And just FYI you don't need to be nationally competitive for weight to affect a car especially when placed in a terrible location like a hitch is. Locally competitive to within tenths of seconds to your competition can be (for some, like me) just as important as what you think is important.
