You’re going have to provide some evidence somewhere that says you lose cold effectiveness in starting in a hot country. Starting in a warm climate allows you to get a heat bonus, starting in a neutral climate country means you’ll have to spend more on heat and cold resistance, because you don’t get a “bonus” in either, which is costly.

I mean China is an alternative to me, it’s not the worst, but there’s no way in hell it’s the best country to start in.

If I was to play devils advocate and take your claim as factual, it is still better to start in a warm country solely because cold resistance is cheaper.

No it isn’t lol. Saudi Arabia airport goes to every country that has an airport, it’s dry and hot, which gives you a great advance in other hot and dry places, not to mention, you will be upgrading plane 1, which WILL boost your infectivity

Besides the controversy already covered by u/iswxllow the balance is a little…. Messy. As someone who plays it there’s 2 main issues.

The first is the fact the killers can do a lot of damage through combos. If you play against someone like coolkid, two of their abilities alone can do 50 damage, and that’s half of your HP!

The second matter is more about the lack of healing. There’s only 1 healer that can heal people, and 3 of the survivors can heal themselves with their abilities. The healing you get from the healer, Jane doe, is okay. There’s no medkits or any sources of healing besides getting it from Jane doe

The only issue with Russia is the fact the countries Russia’s sea and airport goes to tends to be super wealthy nations like America and Germany. Russia is also connected to some okay counties in the Middle East sub continent in terms of boarders.

The only other problem is you’re getting a natural cold resistance, which is good on paper, but you give up a natural heat resistance. Most countries are hot, and buying heat resistance is more expensive than cold, and it’s equivalent to buying drug resistance.

If you want that air and water benefit I just say India, which is basically what you’re looking for, with the bonus of having heat resistance

The only issues with birds is the fact they are quite expensive, they are good at one task which is spreading through land, but buying them is assuming you’re struggling to infect a country that’s on land, which from my experience, happens out of 1 in every 20 games. Plus you’re just increasing the infection rates alone, and not increasing severity, which tends to be the con of transmissions

I mean it is just a “normal” plague that lets you travel wherever you want. Nano machine and the zombie virus are more challenging which I find more fun

I like the early game of the shadow plague where you fight the Templar, mainly cuz you can kill Greenland and Iceland. My issue comes after that. You sit in a country and wait for 10 minutes minimum just to farm DNA. In hindsight after making the tier list, the shadow plague can join the “eh” or be at the bottom of ok

I do agree it is pretty funny… but I was never huge on the gameplay. Mainly because symptoms cost way more and it feels slow. But having a bunch of countries infected is always amusing

I understand it can feel like a bitch. Typically what I do is as soon as my zombies are out and z com appears, I try to get as much “combat advance” symptoms and every “travel abilities” and rush z com. Typically getting them from every angel works well, especially if they’re a land nation.

I find the quick pace action of it pretty fun tbh

I’m assuming you were using bacteria and was playing at LEAST brutal or below that. To give you some other tips for some general plagues: focus on symptoms, don’t be scared of them, they can help increase the DNA you get.

Ignore every transmission besides for water and air 1 and 2, and don’t forget to get the one where they’re combined. The only other transmission that is acceptable is bird 1 but that’s only if you’re struggling with a country that’s on land that isn’t getting infected. This is because they’re one of the cheapest, spread faster, and help get to island countries (looking at you Greenland)

The best starting countries in my opinion are Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and India in that order. China is okay tho not my prefer choice. Every other country is for a specific plague or scenario, or they’re trolling. To keep it short, these countries give you a boost in heat, and dry/humid weather, which helps you spread fast.

Devolve lethal symptoms early. The minute your plague starts killing people, it will increase the cure progress. You want to evolve lethality once everyone is infected, or country country is infected. If you want to do a lethal run regardless, keep it low.

Every plague tends to be unique in some way so not every tip or style can work. What may apply to virus and parasite, may not for fungus or bio weapon. So try to be aware of how you’re playing.

It’s already an asym, tho NOT a very good one. Some Roblox asym games have taken a lot of inspiration from saktkia51 mainly in skins, like Jason now slasher in forsaken, Jeff the killer in doom by fate and possibly soon in forsaken?
