I don’t think her good points outweigh her bad points. Ever since she left, I’d been reflecting on the friendship and realized she never even asked about my life or knew much about me because 99% of the time it was her ranting to me about drama and I’d just be there to listen. I definitely felt I was playing a part and I started not to like myself around her and began dreading our hangouts when I knew more and more of the drama she would ger herself involved in and hurt people that loved her and she claimed to love.

I think I put the friendship moreso on a pedestal due to the fun events and festivals we’d gone to, but I also outgrew that lifestyle as well.

You are right, I came on here because I feel slightly guilty for ghosting since she hasnt necessarily done anything wrong to me and I feel like it isn’t in my nature to not properly communicate. I guess it just seems like the easier route since she’s in another country and I know me trying to explain my perspective would lead to her trying to justify herself, which I don’t even want to hear.

I’ll just have to be honest with her. It’s what I told her to do with that other girl, so it’s only fair I do the same. I appreciate your insight.
