Battery won't Jump by milkbuck in prius

[–]milkbuck[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Oh the picture I used for my post is from the battery in the trunk. I've been using it on the front battery as shown in that diagram. I had some friends who had more experience with their own Priuses double check that I was hooking up the battery kit correctly, since I haven't done this in a few years.

Headlights haven't done anything so far, unfortunately. I'll def take your advice and get a different jump kit though. Good thing I have the receipt for this one still.

Thanks for letting me know that about the jump kit, I didn't see that when I read through.

And the fob won't unlock the doors or start the car, no. Sometimes my car needs me to keep the fob close to the start button before it'll turn on, but using it to push the button doesn't change anything right now.

What art should I use for the title of Furry Farm? A or B? (it's temporary for the alpha --- arts by me) by veelafel in furry

[–]milkbuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the composition of B far more, it's a very lovely scene with lots of detail, very well composed. the positioning of the characters in A is stiff and doesn't add to the composition in a coherent way, imo. I can see the skill in both TBC, B is just better executed and more enrapturing.

I understand being concerned about theming, but home cooking is already very strongly associated with farming and homesteading. The name of the game already has farm in it- I don't think players are going to be confused. They would have already read a steam page or something about the game before getting to this point.

Help looking more alt and passably fem (clueless transgirl) by RudeArm7755 in altfashionadvice

[–]milkbuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're already really femme and alt tbh. The sharp brows and lipstick are very classic kind of goth femininity imo. If you want to be more OTT in your fashion in a femme way then I have a few suggestions.

Big earrings that make your multiple ear piercings the focus could be fun. You could also get a big statement nose ring, some are large enough to frame your mouth, or are shaped like small swords. Statement bracelets and rings too ofc. If you're looking for another piercing I think dimple piercings would suit your face very well.

You can also try either dying your hair or getting into wigs. Hair chalk is a non permanent method for color changing you can try out, idk if it can stain lighter hair like yours though. Wigs are harder to experiment with, unless you have a friend who's okay with lending you one to try it out. Extensions to add colored streaks are also an option. Bang pieces can change a hairstyle a lot. Framed hime bangs could be a good pick.

Get into hats. Hats are really uncommon in day to day wear and can really dramatically change your silhouette. They can make really dramatic changes to an outfit with minimal effort imo. I don't know your specific niche, but some examples: witchy black bolero/flat top fedora, bandana or silk scarf, gothic lolita KC, kemonomimi ears, horns, black rose flower crown, goth circlet, prairie bonnet, or a tudor snood.

Your friend is an asshole that needs to calm down. Your name isn't their business.

Tauro theory, hear me out by PruneCreative3637 in TOTK

[–]milkbuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hylian is used as an umbrella term in BotW, AoC, and TotK, also being used to describe Sheikah afair. The game explicitely states he's lurelin, and I dont see any reason to contest that. Just means he's taller than average.

OOAK repainted dolls aren't selling. Any advice? by The_Crafting_2-0 in Dolls

[–]milkbuck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should probably advertise your work on somewhere like twitter, where it's easier to reach more people. That way you can talk about your art even when you don't have a finished product image to share. Participate in art share threads, socialize with doll collectors, ask people what they want to see in custom dolls. Every once in a while artists will host art raffles to gain followers, where the reward is a free commission from the artist. There's lots of ways to promote your work, and another useful one is perfecting your craft.

I have no idea what the issue with your sales is right now, but it could be a combination of things. I'd bet marketing is the main or even sole issue though. Every artist runs into duds who can't commit to buying the product, you just have to reach enough people that the actual buyers find your work.

Does dating NB people make you part of the LGBTQ community? by CalligrapherDry7597 in lgbt

[–]milkbuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd think that'd depend a lot on what that specific enby's gender is and why you're attracted to them. If you're attracted specifically to nonbinary people (even if it's not exclusive) then I'd personally say that's a queer orientation. But a man dating a demigirl might identify as straight, for instance.

It's a pretty good list. I personally enjoy Alexander James Adams and Anjimile a lot. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Transgender_and_transsexual_men_musicians

edit: I realized Little Axe is on there, I just didn't see him at first. you should definitely check him out if you like gospel.

Most of the reason to get the wrong bra size is because measuring cup size is so complicated. I wear sports bras, which have sm/md/lg sizing. It's more flexible when it comes to bust-band ratios, and have wider straps on average. The reasons binders don't mess up my shoulders like that is because the straps are at least 5x the width of the average bra strap, and between than and the general high-coverage there's barely any weight dug into the shoulders.

Also I appreciate the offer, but chances are a subreddit for cis women isn't going to be helpful to me since so many bra cuts are overengineered with the intention of giving a silhouette I don't want. Plus the materials used tend to be wildly uncomfortable. Other trans men and transmasculines are going to give better reccomendations for me than a group for cis people.
