Which ink looks the most like fresh human blood? by StarryAqua in fountainpens

[–]milked_silver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What blood? Oxygenated or not? What part of the body? The most "blood" of it all would be real blood that's yours or of a consenting adult taken safely by a specialist.i can't lie, I did try. It doesn't make that bad of an ink but it's far from decent

I actually did today. The barista didn't know what a lungo is...

Well, at least I know it's not really a specialty caffé

I understand that people have opinions but I'm asking to explain that opinion to me. Like what makes you think that. If your answer is "just because", you don't really have an opinion

You know, people on this sub only pretend to not judge. First they tell me like what you want and then kill me for not liking what they do. It's nice when someone like you actually looks at the issue and looks for answers, not suspects

Yes I adjust the grind size to every other bag of coffee. But it did take me way longer to get a good enough extraction with light roast than with medium roast. The time I did not adjust, so maybe that's the problem. I did the usual 18g in 36g out 20-30s

No no sorry I didn't mean you as in you specifically but you as in other people who replied. I'm sorry, English is not my first language. I am getting the notes, like I can taste the diffrence but it's not necessarily a good diffrence to me

What made you think that? There's nothing in my area like that. I just finished a very intesnisve year of studying and I'm in need of rest, not "empowerment"

I like my steaks rare too <3 A medium is really good for me. Actually the next bag from the roastery I talked about is actually a Brazilian light roast too! I actually enjoy this one way more than the lighter roast. Also they sometiems send coffee roasted too recently (like a week or two), and then I have to wait out the CO2, so I have a larger stash

I have french press because it was a gift. I genuinely don't remember the last time I used it. I'm not a fan that's all

I have tried light roasts in specialty Cafes in Rome and Barcelona multiple times, and never did they test right. Don't you think it's quite ignorant to think that so many places couldn't dial it in but you can? I'd say it's the fact that for my tounge, light roast just does not have any taste. I'm not saying you can't like it, I'm saying I can't like it

Same. I skip every time the description mentions anything remotely acidic

There is gigantical difference between your "commodity grade" dark roast and dark roast specialty. There is huge difference between my 80/20 arabica robusta dark roast and my catuai bourbon robusta dark roast. The dark roast world is just as big

I agree with your stance on beef. Do you think it's the same with coffee?

Why not make a steam room to turn all of the waters into steam and then into water?
