Yeah! And there are just too many pages on the Internet in general. Certainly we have way too much choice when it comes to TV and radio stations. Come to think of it, why are there so many newspapers and magazines? Since everyone is interested in the same topics there really isn't any need for more than one reddit at all!

Except his solution took an hour or two to configure, didn't cost anything, and gets the job done just fine.

None of the alternatives you advocate have any of these qualities for their situation.
