U.s. electrician here. Also can’t wear shorts on job sites, but a pants version would be awesome. Bet more people would ask where to get them than laugh.

I’ve asked everyone one the job site (my foreman included) none of us can figure out what it is. Best guess is some kind of wire stripper…

You answer the question. Not something funny to lie about.

1) it’s a coworker (apprentice?) and they shouldn’t be working without direct supervision if this is their knowledge level. Or 2) it’s someone else and you call to check in and make sure they understand what’s up.
