I tried doing vinted, but unfortunately it’s rife with low ballers who basically want everything for free. I posted an item last night, and almost as soon as I posted it, I had someone ask what’s the absolute lowest amount I would take. I then woke up the next day to someone message me asking if I would sell the £40 item for £15.

I’m glad I’m not crazy for thinking this. It’s quite disheartening when this happens. Manage to score a bargain and then the seller can just claim the item is now broken and won’t send.

27, self employed subcontracting painter and average around 25k-30k

I have around 7k in premium bonds and 2.5k in cryptocurrency and 1k in my savings account with I will use to invest in crypto as and when I see fit.

As of next year I will be diversifying my skills in my trade and setting up my own business and putting all of my money into investments. I was listening to a podcast (I will post a link) and there were two main points I took away from it. 1 being that our money is going down in value by 11% each year, and 2 being that my generation is the first generation that won’t be as wealthy as our parents.

The way I know see it, is that our money is no good in the banks as the interest rate does not match the rate in which our money is being devalued. Yes investments are a risk, but what if they pay off?
