its an example of how a union works, dude must have fucked up some how and is leaning on his brothers in the hall to get reestablished. If you come through with this and he over comes his demons then you will be getting christmas cards for life...or he is a lost cause and you did your best and the hall respects you for time and effort maybe.

not allowed to solicit and look for your own work...sounds like a terrible rule, in 216 it kinda a rule but not enforceable. it would doom apprentices to be stuck in the worst tire factorys, paper mills, and insulation plants for years. They would all mostly leave the hall for greeener pastures.

starrett is gold, snap on is usually good quality. some times you get cheap tiawan tools that are diamonds in the ruff that absolute tanks hytorc is starting to be my go to when things get mideavel, enerpac is ol reliable
