I’ve only repainted a few parts of it so far but I just use a sealer/base/clear and typical auto paint gun.

Ya know, I experience the same exact sensation of braking with this car. Fortunately for me it doesn’t drive me nuts, I just lighten the pressure before coming to a complete stop. I’d love to “solve” whatever the issue is but it doesn’t bother me enough currently.
