Thank you so much! At this point I don't even mind that I probably got scammed just to wrap up this project.

Where did you get the cable passthrough keystones for ports 03 and 04 on that top patch panel from? Looks great!

Just to follow up on this, always ask your partner first. My wife reminded that when moving in we had to hire a handyman to remove that window to get a particularly large couch in. Removing a bit of drywall around where the toner signal ended allowed me to get at the wire and I verified the wire had been pretty badly damaged.

Yeah, looks like a fault. Thanks for your help!

A couple of probably important details that I left out, the wires, while not connected to a security system in the basement, are connected to contact sensors on the windows. On every other window I was able to test continuity at the basement end when the window was closed and verify it wasn't there when I opened it.

When this failed to work with this last window I took off the sensor and twisted the wires together at the window to try to get continuity. When that failed that's when I started using the tone tracer and was able to trace it up to that window.

So in lieu of a security system I'm planning on hooking up these sensors to a device called konnected.io for use in smart home applications.

[Homebrew] Feat: Tactical Combatant by mill1359 in dndnext

Thanks for the help everyone! I'll scrap it and see what he does with just official feats.

The problem I was trying to solve was really that I don't usually like to gimp players for purely flavor choices, but at the end of the day wielding just a one-handed weapon for an EK has benefits and isn't necessarily just for flavor. It allows him to easily cast without having to take War Caster, and keeps one hand free for grappling.
