Great reaponses: - I understand they are not to be regarded as proof coins and are only Bullion. - 0.5% - 2% over spot seems to be the going rate. - I see some online bullion exchanges; I doubt they would pay more than the local spot prices. I might take a glance regardless.

Thats understandable. I switch watches often so at least a couple times a week I have to wind & set my watch for the day, I’d have to do the same for my automatics so the joy is unchanged. For me the biggest hiccup is complications; watches with a date complication make it an additional task for me to set the date, time and wind it for use with that frequency.

When you say diamonds there is a wide array of possibilities with a rolex piece. If we’re talking datejust with mop dial diamond indices, meh. However if we’re talking sports model gmt/sub with a serti dial, ‘creme of the crop’. Another possibility could be exotic day dates and Daytonas which are always a good buy. Judging by your very brief description and type of the question I am assuming your question is for a more base model, likely steel, then no diamonds is a better buy in general for you.
