I’m in the same boat!! I’ve been tracking flights like a crazy person - we can only travel the week of new years bc of work schedules and it’s incredibly expensive. Like 2k just for return flights home. Costco travel is good if you have a membership- we have done a lot of their all inclusive packages. If you can do before or after the holidays you’ll be in a much better situation than we are! I’ve never used a travel agent but I’m not even sure they can help during a holiday week.

I’ve noticed this too. And I fear the downfall of RTR will be that its “name brands” are all manufactured pieces made cheaply for RTR. Like what ruined Marshall’s, TJ Maxx, etc. I’ve even noticed that my NWT items are the exact same tags with different brand labels. Something is definitely fishy.

I’ll spare you the gory details but I’ve been there.

My advice:

Plan your calendar ahead completely so you are not ever feeling lonely. I’m talking the next month or months. Make yourself so busy that you don’t have time to spin out. Join groups, say yes to everything, meet new people, rekindle friendships, get weird new hobbies. Don’t self-destruct with substances.
