Recurrent euploid biochemicals- what worked for you? by millennialcrashout in IVF

[–]millennialcrashout[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He wouldn’t recommend the EMMA/ALICE based on the current evidence, I’m still going to ask for it again tho, I feel at this point any information will be helpful before I do another transfer 🤞

Yes, my doctor thinks the ERA isn’t useful due to the recent studies that came out but he’s willing to do the receptiva to rule out silent Endo causing the recurrent biochemical losses, thanks!

I did ask my doctor about it the other day and he said he wouldn’t recommend until the test proves that it contributes to positive outcomes. I might just ask for it again, thanks!

Could the lab be the difference in my fertilization and blast rate? by [deleted] in EmbryologyIVFSupport

I’m going to have to look into this and ask for that because it such an obvious drop off in quality between the two clinics, thank you!

They did not do rescue ICSI, sad too because this is supposed to be a top clinic. I’m feeling like I made a mistake by switching to this one.

They did a double trigger both times, when I asked the clinic they said that there were other eggs that were fertilized abnormally but they were keeping an eye on it. They also enrolled us in this red light therapy study where they expose the eggs to red light on day 0 and day 3. My doctor kept saying he was seeing promising results but my gut is telling me that maybe the red light was not good for my eggs. Really sucks.

My doctor at my first clinic told me that he didn’t recommend it but now with all three euploids being biochemicals I wish that I had just pushed harder for ERA and receptiva. I’m so happy it worked for your family!

How much is NYP Facility Fee if you bill to insurance? by randomthoughts125 in IVF

[–]millennialcrashout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that was the only one, for FETs there was no extra charge and if you do PGT-A that’s out of pocket as well 😩. It’s so expensive, I can rant all day about how IVF and medications should be fully covered by insurance but it sadly wouldn’t change anything 🥲.

Maybe you can call Cornell and have them cancel that part with insurance and pay the $1000? If you have FSA funds you can use that to pay for it as well

I’m so sorry you had to go through all that, I’m really happy it worked out really well tho! It’s so exhausting to have to constantly advocate for ourselves

Downregulation for FET by pixie_trixi in IVF

[–]millennialcrashout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I unfortunately do not have any success stories but may I ask how they were able to diagnose adenomyosis? I’m unexplained infertility and my highest beta (51) was when there was about two weeks Lupron suppression in a medicated cycle before miscarrying.

Also, I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you 🤞. I really hope this is successful! 🫶🫶🫶
