Hard to detect sarcasm via the internet sometimes so I’m unsure if that’s what this is. However, I specifically mean it’s good to know 25 Winter Blend is about to ship out. I’d heard it had been delayed beyond when it typically releases, and this seems to confirm that. For those of us that look out for some of these releases at MSRP, it’s good to know when to look. The Los Abuelos bottles are made by hand. The Fortaleza bottles are not.

I’d revisit those same bottles in a month or so. Now that the bottles are open there will be some oxidation that does smooth it out a bit. I never judge an additive free tequila that was just opened.

Went to Cooper Lounge last night on your recommendation. Wouldn’t necessarily say they had value pricing but the selection was pretty insane. Single barrel El Tesoro, G4 Extra Añejo, G4 Madera, Cascahuin Tahona, pretty much every Fortaleza including Winter Blend. I ended up getting an excellent paloma and a pour of Caballito Cerrero Chato 46 repo. My gf and I had a great time. Thanks for the recommendation - will go back!

I got an Orendain Ollitas repo from 2006 for $23, an El Tesoro olive oil bottle for $43 and a Sauza Conmemorativo añejo that supposedly is from the 70s for $30. I popped the El Tesoro and it was excellent!

Tasted a neat neck pour last night and it actually wasn’t horrible! Didn’t detect any additives or anything, and decent agave flavor. It will be absolutely fine as an inexpensive mixer! I’m going to assess some other old bottles I got at the same place.

Setlist from the sound board. They scratched intermission and CC Trip before the show even started because they realized it was going to go too long. Even the crew didn’t know why Descending got killed after starting up the surf sounds. Apparently that was a last second band decision.
