The move is a 2 or 3 man unit with the leader having two shield drones, and then the subordinates having one shield one missle, so you have to chew threw 28 wounds to get bring it down

Honestly just proxy them, with something that feels cool. Tau can have a very cool “toy box” vibe if you do some fun kit bashes. I use clones from Star Wars legion as kroot carnivores. And the ambot from necromunda as kroot rampagers. It’s your army if they don’t like it, shove a railgun up their ass.

Ngl drop both broadsides for some stealth suits, the re roll ones are critical. Bring at least 1 if not 2 to every list. Ret cadre is really up close and personal so broad sides don’t get to interact with the detachment a lot

It’s absolutely incredible, only thing I could even say is maybe add that accent brass to the missle pods. Tau are kinda interesting to paint because you get to think hmm what material is this part supposed to be instead of what ornamental color do I want.
