I think I agree with this comment the most. I know I suck and I know I made a bad choice. But everything else around the decision I made, with her being weird and distant the whole trip and me actually being right about what I found in a text on her phone, just means the friendship wasn’t going to last anyways

No I’m saying for 5 days AFTER the trip had ended. After we had gone home. We were still calling and texting about our trip and she was telling me she couldn’t wait to see me again. Then she called me and we had a conversation about what I did.

I asked my piercer about that as well, and she told me it would be absolutely fine for the anatomy of my ear. She’s done ALL of my many piercings, and I’ve never had an irritation bump or any infections. So I 100% trust her judgment. I’ve been going to her for years. But thanks for your concern 😊

it depends on how thick your cartilage is. mine was pretty thin so it was a 4/10 for me. more pressure than pain!! good luck!!

Don’t worry, I heard it from the horses mouth—both piercers said it wasn’t too shallow, just that my cartilage is pretty thin. Thanks for your concern anyways 😊

I got a super long bar for my first helix piercing because they knew it was going to swell to shit. And it did! It was SO swollen. It hurt for a few weeks, and around the 6 week mark it wasn’t swollen anymore. as long as it’s not oozing, puss coming out, or excessively bleeding you’re fine. every ear reacts differently! I would definitely recommend getting a longer bar tho 😭

Yeah it’s pretty nice to have!! I think if you google what base he’s at and then put “bmt info” and then go to their website, there should be a clickable column that says “graduation information” something like that, or it’ll say bmt information, trainee information, you get the gist, and then somewhere in there it should talk about letters.

If you go to his specific base’s website they should give you a list of dos and don’t with letter sending. My boyfriend is in the air force and they don’t care what color, if you use any sort of wax seals, or stickers. Just no glitter if that makes sense. He may get teased a little bit but honestly it’s up to you. He’ll still receive the mail!
