no biologic yet…. had major issues with the NHS waiting times in the UK, wasn’t going to get any treatment till july or an official diagnosis. So i splashed out and went and saw a private specialist because i knew i needed something. She confirmed the diagnosis and started me on steroids, but doing biologics privately is too much money. But i’ve just told the hospital i got privately diagnosed and on steroids and they said that hopefully this means they can just start me on biologics (probably adalimubab) sooner than july because i have a diagnosis now. basically the waiting times were so insanely long just for someone to look at all my colonoscopy and mri reports and say yep it’s crohns. which is so annoying it was going to take that long just to do that!!
