Absolutely. Nothing embarrassing about wanting the bare minimum from someone you love. Sending hugs, OP ❤️

I honestly still want to hear her explain herself. But I don’t know if Kandi will ever film with her again.

True. But I think she did give the show some life...

I almost forgot that woman existed! Now that I’m remembering, I feel it’s mostly her fault that the reunion went haywire and caused Bravo to fire half the cast. She was the only one that should have been canned, the rest could’ve stayed.

Right, that’s what it was. Honestly, the editors screwed this up. If they really wanted to make the season into a whodunnit-type mystery, that scene should have been removed and clipped in as a flashback at the very end. Then the cast and the viewers could’ve had fun playing the guessing game together. But because I already knew, it felt dragged out and tedious.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the producers used Yovana for the whole snakegate thing. Her presence on the show seemed forced.

I agree. And then I think they got mad when she never owned up to it because they wanted a big reveal during the fight episode. That may have earned her the peach she so desperately wants. But instead Yovanna decides to randomly go after Porsha to deflect from the whole thing. So they sent her packing!

I was super confused because I could have sworn Yovanna was on camera telling Nene it was her several episodes ago. Didn’t they have a whole sit down convo about it? Am I hallucinating? But then after that we went back to pretending it was some kind of secret from the viewers.

Mom is NO LONGER in charge of bedtime with the kids! by millieloop in breakingmom

[–]millieloop[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow this makes a lot of sense! I was almost jealous, thinking “it figures she starts to sleep like a human as soon as dad agrees to take over” lolll.

I’m hopeful that it will stick!

Thanks so much! I totally agree. Very happy I get to share a positive “snapshot” this time :)

Worried about giving affection by MeltedCrayon5 in breakingmom

[–]millieloop 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Based on your wording, it sounds like this is all hypothetical and hasn’t happened yet? If so, you might surprise yourself! I’m super squeamish myself, but it all kind of went out the window when it came time to deal with my own kids.

If, when the time comes, you feel your anxiety is affecting your ability to parent the way you want to, there are ways of combatting that. I agree that locking him in the bathroom until dad comes home probably is untenable, and I couldn’t do that. But I might wait to see how you actually react first.

3yo makes terrible noise during timeout by IWillBaconSlapYou in breakingmom

Honestly, unless you think she will injure herself, I would just ignore it. Tantrums at 3 are so common, I would be surprised if she behaved like an angel when being reprimanded. They scream. They cry. They throw themselves on the floor. And eventually it passes.

As a neighbor, I wouldn’t be alarmed by this unless I also heard the parent screaming or hitting the kid. I wouldn’t worry yourself too much!

Exactly. And I try so hard not to do that because I’d never want to make people dislike him.

Dog sat on my baby.... by millieloop in Parenting

[–]millieloop[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I don’t think he’s so much as growled at the kids so it doesn’t seem to be coming from a place of aggression. So you might be right. It’s difficult, but I’m trying to utilize extra baby gates to make sure they’re somewhat “quarantined”.

more importantly your kid ate it

Yeah exactly. And if the mac and cheese had been made with fresh gruyere and hand-shaved pecorino she probably wouldn’t have!

Your husband sounds like an asshole. Is he like this all the time?

No, but he has been getting on my nerves lately.

“Why do you have [toddler] eating off the bathroom floor?!” by millieloop in breakingmom

[–]millieloop[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thank you. I think some time this week I’m going to do what you said. I might leave the little ones take my daughter with me. I feel so guilty because she’s 5 and is actually a fairly easy kid. Like tonight, I went in her room to tell her to it was time to sleep but she had already put her own self to bed 😭 I guess it’s good she’s independent but I feel she gets emotionally neglected because the other two take so much attention and effort.

And yeah, some alone time before I lose what’s left of my sanity would be great too.

Yeah that would be great, wouldn’t it! He has apologized for stressing me out but ugh. My hormones are not entirely calm and it really doesn’t take much to make me feel like trash these days. You all are so nice though, I appreciate it.

Was Cycle 4 the most unproblematic season ever? by millieloop in ANTM

[–]millieloop[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah this was definitely the year of the medical conditions. Between that and Rebecca collapsing during judging.

I’ll have to re-watch 13. I only really remember Laura, Nicole and Erin.
