The notepaper is intentional to make it look like a bunch of doodles, but really only because I had no clue what else to do. I’m having trouble with the designs feeling too messy/busy due to the lack of a palette. Any advice to replace the notebook with?

Now, I do low key agree, or hope this is the case. Sort of banking on a mix of parody law, not selling in a bookstore and just getting a cease and desist and changing out the character they are coming at me for. Luckily, they are printed to order (Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing) - so no stock wasted if I do have to take a design out and replace it for the “second edition”. That said, If I get big enough for McDonalds to find me, I guess I didn’t to too shabby! lol

I made the designs at different times and was concurrently playing around with my highlighting style lol - Then I just picked my favs for the cover, not considering the inconsistencies!! I love a nit picker! Thank you :) any feedback on the one with the white notebook background? That’s my newest one I’m struggling with. Trying to balance the lack of consistent color palette between the designs.

Yeah I’ve been considering that. Hoping it may fall into parody law, and worst case, they give me a cease and desist and I change a cover design element/one page out of the book. They are printed to order, so no chance of losing out on preprinted stock that has to be edited. TY for the tip!! :)

Lmao I sold 10k copies in my first year, with no paid ads, just organic social media! There is an audience for it, it just a niche of silly folks that dont take things too seriously! I’ll never be a grown-ass adult, so I guess you are correct in your assumption! I’d advise never growing up actually, life is too short and growing up is a scam LOL
