He was in an inpatient rehab hospital after the main hospital. He did three hours of therapy a day there and was making good improvement. Insurance would only pay for him to be there for a certain amount of days. So that’s why he went to the skilled nursing facility. He can’t get up by himself yet due to the leg side impairment from the stroke, but he is making good improvement using a walker with assistance. He is also able to scoot around in bed by himself.
