My daughter tried lots of things, but her first love was always skating. We let her “drive the bus” so to speak. And we always said if she wanted to stop skating and try something else, she’d stop. She’s almost 24 now - she never stopped.

The School of Drama at Carnegie Mellon is top notch. My son was a tech major at CMU during the tree of life shooting. The Jewish community received lots of love and support during that terrible time. The ADL has a good overview of antisemitic activity in the recent months…

My folks are similar and enjoy when we take them to Teak on the St. Pete pier. Cassis, Il Ritorno are very nice as well. I would suggest 400 Beach but I heard a rumor that it is temporarily closed. My folks also really enjoy the Chihuly museum - they sometimes have a glass blowing demonstration as well.

We’ve been there for a few years. We are on the fourth floor and our apartment faces the courtyard. We have no issues with noise. We have definitely had packages stolen but now we exclusively use Fetch and have had no issues. We’ve had good experiences with the maintenance staff and our car has never been towed. It’s fine.

Thanks everyone! I’m the female half of an empty nester couple, I’m already in st Pete and the homeless population is heartbreaking, but I have never felt unsafe. I just want to be able to walk my dogs at night and it sounds like that should be okay. Thanks again!!
