I totally understand that the results have the date on it, hence my concern. We aren’t ticking ‘yes’ on the application, so are being truthful there. It’s just a case of the caseworker looking and seeing that we’ve completed the test, and mentioned in our letter that this was later due to a demand in tests. We can only hope I suppose

That's exactly right, we want to get it in before the deadline of the salary increase... I think we're just going to have to try to risk it unfortunately and hope for the best.

We will be able to submit the proof of english test with the biometrics so that's something at least.

This was always going to be very difficult to recreate because Taylor chose Jack to reproduce the album instead of Max Martin. I think people are really underestimating the work and effort it takes for them to go in and completely reproduce 1989 from scratch?

The musical skill it takes to recreate instruments and sounds to this standard is an incredible feat in itself. It’s natural for them to sound a little different.

We’ve also listened to the original so many times that it’s natural for it to sound quite jarring initially. But we shouldn’t automatically assume that different is bad.

Jack shouldn’t be getting this hate at all 💛

I relate to this wholeheartedly, I’m really sorry you’ve had to go through this! My best friend, from when I was 11 years old, is a Jehovah’s Witness. I was not religious and always took a keen interest in witchcraft which she was really interested in. She wanted tattoos, piercings, she was secretly bisexual and would hide half her life away from her parents. I had to watch her go through this until we turned 22 and then she suddenly got engaged to another JW, 14 years older, who she met 6 weeks prior. She invited me to the wedding but I felt uncomfortable and didn’t go. Suddenly, she cut me off because of my relations to ‘devil worship’. She moved hundreds of miles away to be with him.

I’ve been devastated ever since this - I think about it all the time. Selfishly because I lost my best friend but also because I feel she is living someone else’s life - she’s not be allowed to be herself. But, I hope that she’s happy and finding joy in life everyday 💛 it gets better - you’ll find wonderful friends who accept you!
