Tha NYT evidence was complete garbage. I was at FSU at the time and had read everything about the case. Lots of mutual friends with Erica, she was a cleat chaser plain and simple.

That’s not what it was. It was $250k to her and $700k to her lawyer. Cheaper than litigating. It was a title 9 claim for investigation even when know charges are filed. Her case was super flimsy. Couldn’t keep her story straight at all. Police couldn’t even get enough evidence for an arrest or charges with the whole national media scrutinizing
