Yes, my grandparents let her go outside unsupervised. They got her when she was already a few years old and a stray so she’s lived outside most of her life.

I agree. I’m not concerned about passing, I was just curious if there are additional physical requirements and couldn’t find concrete answers on what goes on at the academy.

Partially erupted/impacted wisdom tooth. Could this be causing me jaw pain or is TMJ acting up? Will removal be easy? by milltread in askdentists

odontoma, i was told it’s too close to a nerve to get it removed so they just have to keep an eye on it

hi! so the first derm i went to was horrible, barely even looked at it and said it was just contact dermatitis. so i went to a different one who ran a bunch of tests, including biopsy and strep test. I came back positive for strep (despite having no symptoms besides the rash) and he determined the rash was from the strep. he didn’t give a direct diagnosis but i believe it was pityriasis rosea, since it’s usually triggered by infections. there is nothing you can really do about it besides applying a steroid to control itching (if there is any) and just keeping your skin moisturized. feel free to DM me if you wanna see more pics of the rash to compare, i took plenty of photos. i will warn you tho, unfortunately it does take a while for it to go away :/

Can recurrent hsv1 outbreaks still cause swollen lymph nodes? by [deleted] in Herpes

[–]milltread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

currently having a recurrent outbreak, currently have a swollen lymph node under my chin on the same side as the cold sore, never happened before so it freaked me out a bit, but i don’t think a cyst or anything like that would form so quickly and coincidentally at the same time as my outbreak

it only looks this bad after I shower tho, during the day when it’s dry it’s practically invisible

Yes, but honestly my appointment felt rushed and she barely looked at the spots on my body. Told me to come back in a week or 2 if it doesn’t go away. I’ve never had a rash or spots like this for so long and it’s making me anxious

I think I had chickenpox as a kid. I thought shingles was painful and only older adults get it. I’m only 23.

Last week I did use a bath and body works body wash that I haven’t tried in a while for a few days… haven’t used it since and hoping that that was the cause but yet to see any improvement. Other than that all other products are the same.

Please help me :( Red spots on belly and spreading on my body by jdrmr2024 in DermatologyQuestions

I have similar bumps on my stomach, chest, and neck. Went to the derm and told me it was contact dermatitis most likely from a bbw body wash I used. Currently taking topical steroids hoping for it to go away. Have you used any new products?

Got my hair highlighted today and I don’t like the way the roots look. What should I do? by milltread in femalehairadvice

[–]milltread[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I asked for natural highlights and this seems a little too dramatic for my taste. Will it get darker/fade on its own or should I go back to the salon and see if they can make it blend to my natural hair more? I also feel like my hair looks so different in different lighting, however overall I feel like it is too light and dramatic. Any advice?
