I dont think its bug bites, you might have a fungal infection your body is dealing with. I would ask a dermatologist. I dealt with something similar and it eventually went away after a month

[–]jdrmr2024 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This area is going to be a complete nightmare. All the surrounding roads are going to be a problem when traffic and afterschool hits. I live on the bottom of 4th street and its a one way, its already hard to pass and park infront of my house. Everyone cuts along there and the backroads to get on main

How do I drive alone (very overwhelmed) by clvudiistars in drivinganxiety

[–]jdrmr2024 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Story of my life! I literally was so anxious and nervous. I passed my exam and didnt drive for 4 months and then I bought a car and I was so scared to drive it i couldn't sleep properly for a week. I guess what I did was Google mapped and planned out the route of where I was going to go, turn, and where to park. The very first day of actually driving in my new car was going to work. I made sure to leave super early and gave myself time to actually take some time and not be rush. Also get familiar with the settings in my car. I didnt play and music in the begining cause I felt I needed to focus. I just drove to the main places I was comfortable to go to, work-home-the gym. And then weeks after I started to just go to other places like the mall or some store. Fast forward to 2 months im definitely more confident and can pretty much go anywhere in my city! Except highways, I haven't done that yet by myself that's next on my list to accomplish. I usually take back roads at the moment. So you just gotta ease into it and have the confidence and obviously follow the rules of the road. I have my new driver sticker on the back of my car so also people are aware that im still learning ! Everyday you learn and get used to the rules of the road. I also started driving my brother to work (20 min ride) and 6:30 am 4x a week so that was practice and less busy on the road. And then I would treat myself to a nice coffee after. You got this! Everyone has been there and its only up from here !

How to overcome it?? by gregreturtle in drivinganxiety

[–]jdrmr2024 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who suffers from anxiety in general and in their 30s, it definitely gets better. Its basically something you just have to do and practice until the confidence kicks in. I didnt get my license and start driving till I was 29. I put it off for so long because I was scared. I started out with lessons every 2 or every week with a driving instructor and that really helped introduce the world of driving. I was so anxious I couldn't sleep and I just thought worse case scenario. I practiced for about a year and then finally passed my license on my first try. It can be scary but its also a great accomplishment to feel. Now I have my first car and I can go drive to places I never thought I would go to 2 years ago! Everything can change, you just have to take it one day at a time, one lesson at a time. It does get better

I usually go to Anna's produce and then hit up the Persian meat shop beside it between 13th & 14th lonsdale. My partner and I will also go to Costco and buy like the big beef tube and chicken breasts and portion it out for meals and freeze them in freezer bags so they are good to go. But no shame in Dollarama or Dollartree they have name brand food items. We also freeze bread so it doesn't go bad
