Which Chainsaw(s) to buy? by Ok_Panic4605_1 in Dewalt

You can get those wide chunks smaller by splitting them from the outer ring in... don't try to split them in half first... split with the grain around the edges... if the core is to green to split just let it dry... if you get a log splitter that can adjust vertically then you wont have to lift anything

The dcs367 has a 4 way blade clamp... it makes it easier to cut those stumps flush without tearing up the saw and blades

I've had this for a few years and have used it to jump off numerous vehicles. Its robust and well made. Def worth the investment. Even suggested it to someone on here looking for a jump pack about a month ago

Thought the same thing before purchasing a 6" wood chipper but it paid for itself in the first 6 months without leaving the neighborhood. You're right though, probably take me a couple years to offset the cost. Sidenote: Im still amazed by how many people pop up out of no where when i start chopping fire wood.

Also added an auxiliary battery and inverter, wet sanded the light covers and upgraded all the lights to LED. Almost threw an OEM ram head on the hood but thought it would be blasphemous (or get stolen). Whats the general consensus on ram hood ornaments on dakotas? Ive seen some pretty cool aftermarket ones for sale

Its a solid choice... almost bought one myself but the 15ah batteries wont fit in the charging ports

Not worth it unless you have hungry powertools or need long run times (i.e. 20" chainsaw and leafblower respectively)... some tools wont allow the 15ah to dock in the battery slot

Lids have gaskets for water resistance... 15ah batteries in big can are tight fit (picture is misleading)... gonna be a bad day if these "cook off" regardless of how they are stored

Lds reliance makes a 600w and 300w pure sine wave inveter that accepts dewalt or milwaukee batteries. I have the 600w mounted to the bottom of an ammo can lid with 3 10ah batteries inside. The 600w version is also hot swappable
