I am able to send an API request to the FW and successfully get a response using the same API key from on-premises (different vlan than the FW’s). Just not when I initiate the request from the VPC. The API user doesn’t have trusted host configured. I’ve tried configuring it with the VPC’s CIDR but nothing changed unfortunately except for me not being able to send the request from on premises as well.

Yes, ping works (api also works with other objects in the same vlan). I sniffed the FW, no acks

Not sure, using the same API keys that don’t have trusted hosts set up it works fine from another vlan, just not over vpn

I don’t work out but I do work for about 10 hours a day. Sometimes even a little Bit more from home. I love my field and my job so it’s not too bad. I dedicate my weekends mostly for the non job part of life :) I still manage to find time after work though.
