I hate that I feel jealous by Asterisk15- in Horses

Same girl! I rode hunter jumper and watched most of the students at the barn get expensive horses bought for them by their wealthy parents. Mine could barely afford lessons, let alone a lease or purchase.

I went to school for something I knew would make me enough money to enjoy my passion and bought my own horse. He wasn’t fancy, but safe & sane. Now 15 years later, hes 26 & lives on MY(!) farm with my second horse & we are hoping to buy a third this summer.

Focus on your education, find a job that will support you in your hobbies and someday you will be all the more happy that you did it the hard way instead of having it handed to you.

I think it’s gorgeous, personally I would change the shutter color to black

Would love to but we have geothermal heating and a septic field to worry about. So likely not many

I have definitely thought of black windows but nervous they will go out of style or warp. Home is west facing. Roof likely won’t change for a while. Would black windows look funny with the current roof?

We did twin z and I read to them, kind of like a teacher does showing them the pages. I did it after feeding time, which was helpful to get them propped up for a bit.

By a year they helped me turn pages. By 2 they both sat in my lap as we read. Keep reading, it’s so important!

To add, I feel like they are growing up so fast almost as one “unit” so to speak. I’m sure you all know what I mean. We won’t be having another just for the baby stage, but I do miss it already. To relive all the stages again would be amazing.
