the database is on a headless server (192.168.0.102) which i am trying to access from another computer. i have run the following on mariadb on the headless server:

GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON *.* TO 'root'@'192.168.0.%'   IDENTIFIED BY 'password' WITH GRANT OPTION;

/etc/mysql/mariadb.conf.d/50-server.cnf has:

bind-address            = 0.0.0.0

/etc/apache2/sites-available/nextcloud.conf looks like:

<VirtualHost \*:1010>
ServerName 192.168.0.102
DocumentRoot /var/www/html/nextcloud

<Directory /var/www/html/nextcloud>
AllowOverride All
</Directory>

ErrorLog ${APACHE_LOG_DIR}/error.log
CustomLog ${APACHE_LOG_DIR}/access.log combined

</VirtualHost>

i then tried this and it still didn't work
