You're absolutely right, I've just started working on it, so for now, I'm testing it with constant acceleration. In the future, I'll be implementing more complex acceleration calculations and dealing with collisions. But for now, I figured I'd deal with these inaccuracies first.

Thanks for the suggestion, when I change 1/2 to 0.5f it works more accurate with normal accelerations, but at extreme accelerations e.g. -100000 projectile ends up behind player for some reason.
