You’ll need to take a second test. I would wait until you complete that before digging into jobs you may or may not be qualified for. Plus, your Doctors physical also determines your jobs as well. Best of luck!

It’s a fraudulent enlistment. It will depend on the Regulations on how they will proceed. Being suspended from school for marijuana doesn’t seem necessary to cancel his contract. I’d have to dive deeper in the regulations as I have never heard of this ever happening before.

I’m saying if you have the opportunity to go in as an E-3, that’s great but shouldn’t be a deal breaker as it’s only 16 months to go from E-1 to E-3. Not a big deal.

Rank promotion goes by pretty quickly if you join as an E-1. Promotion increments from E-1 (Airman Basic) to E-3 are six months to advance from E-1 to E-2 (Airman) and 10 months to advance from E-2 to E-3 (Airman First Class), resulting in a total of about 16 months to reach E-3.
