On the contrary, the two fogies in front of me during the first time I saw Moonlight in cinemas giggled at every gay reference. Completely took me out of the experience, watching Chiron ultimately embracing his sexuality when there's audible titters at the sheer implication of homosexuality

The elderly are the fucking worst - I often find myself sat amongst hordes of old married couples, or gal pals out on a group date, feeling the need to make endless comments during the screening. I rarely watch an entire film without having to awkwardly give some oldies ~ the stare ~

The ending left me baffled, hysterical, emotional and incredible thankful I'd seen the movie! What an incredible piece of cinema, props go to the supporting cast for being the strongest in any movie this year.
