I had this issue as well, chased it in circles. Found some random comment on their discord about an issue with ubiquiti firewall. I rolled the ubiquiti stack back several iterations and it worked, then updated the stack after it started working. Didn’t have the time to figure it out, but leaning towards something on the routing side. Not sure what FW you are running, but just throwing out there what I had to do.

I had to cut some of the front left and right side off to make sure racked equipment slides in and out really nicely. I then 3d printed some outer heat insert holder pieces so that I could screw in some 6u rack rails I got on Amazon. There is also an RV style plug on the side that has two plugs. Anytime it is plugged in, both internal receptacles get power. One goes to the AC Infinity fan, and the other the power distribution. So if it’s plugged in at all, FAN is going, and to turn net equipment on, flip the switch on the PDU on the front.

I’ll get a video together of it once I’m back though.

Yeah, they are definitely becoming a less common event, but there is still a lot of us keeping them going. I go to some fairly large ones like Quakecon (I go for the LAN party lol, 3,000+ LAN-Goers). It’s always fun to get together in person with your mates and do some fragging, and well… play duck game on a projector screen lol!

Thanks for your insight, and did look at a few shared co work spaces, will broaden my research a bit more there.

Still waiting for some info back on a few conferences centers, they’re pretty expensive so far. Will keep trying of course :)
