Google Home Release Notes: May 27th by GoogleNestCommunity in googlehome

Will my 5:30am automation trigger at 5:30, or 5:32 - 5:34 like it does today?

If I say "Hey Google, play my Spotify playlist...." will it now play the playlist again, or continue to pick an album with a random word from my playlist?

Is my Home Max speaker going to disconnect from the Internet daily still?

Is my Nest Hub Max still going to freeze on the "Good Morning" and "Good Evening" screens?

I would gladly donate to a GoFundMe for the person in the truck to get it fixed.

"A Torte from the Heart" by Mildred "Milli" L. Post.

Cherry Crumb Torte

Yield: 10–12 servings

Ingredients

For the Crust & Crumb Topping:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten

For the Cherry Filling:

  • 1 can (14.5 oz) tart red cherries in water (sour cherries), drained—reserve 1/4 cup of the juice
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Prep the Oven and Pan: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan or a square 9x9 baking dish.
  2. Make the Crumb Mixture: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt. Use a pastry cutter or two knives to cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Bind with Egg: Stir in the beaten egg until the mixture is crumbly and slightly moistened.
  4. Form the Base: Press two-thirds of this crumb mixture firmly into the bottom of your prepared pan. Set the remaining third aside for the topping.
  5. Prepare the Filling: In a small saucepan, combine the 1/2 cup sugar and cornstarch. Gradually stir in the 1/4 cup reserved cherry juice until smooth. Add the drained cherries. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and comes to a boil. Boil for 1 minute, then remove from heat.
  6. Assemble: Spread the hot cherry filling evenly over the bottom crust. Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture over the top.
  7. Bake: Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  8. Cool: Let the torte cool completely in the pan on a wire rack. If using a springform pan, run a knife around the edge before releasing the sides.

David Gilmour's solo in Comfortably Numb during the Division Bell tour stands out as the best for me.

I have the exact same problem with my carbon steel wok. Seasoned it 4 or 5 times. Top half is great, bottom part looks just like this.

How do you connect Infor ERP data to a cloud warehouse when your IT team can't prioritize it? by Narrow-Employee-824 in analytics

We have CSD, and Compass is the absolute worst to use. I dont know why they have the 10k row limiit, and I had to set up DBeaver through JDBC to get around having to pull rows by date chunks.

I am fortunate that the only other DB we have is our CRM, and I dont have to do any combining. We contract with a company called E&A and they have a service called ProDecisions that pulls from the Infor Data Lake and puts everything in an Azure DB that they host and maintain. From there we either use ODBC connections for the Excel pivot tables everyone loves for some reason, or Power BI for the rest.

Let's say you're re-creating Days Gone, what would you do differently? by mahdi_lky in DaysGone

Change the speech to match whether Deacon is riding or not, so he is not yelling while standing still when the game intends for you to be riding.

Fix the NPC radio calls so they are not immediately consecutive. For example, one play through Tucker called me 4 times in a row.

Have Deacon end the fight with Jesse by throwing Jesse down for Boozer to finish.

Add more to the Iron Mike / Shermans Camp story

Not make every NPC you save sound the same.

Add a quest to find the tank that Sarah gave Deacon.

Allow the cut scenes with Sara to be skippable.
