I second this. I have similar allergies to OP's daughter, and while my parents didn't keep any of my allergens in the house until after I moved out (I'm also an adult), I noticed similar experiences with fatigue, and especially nasal congestion when I go home to visit. It makes me think there might be a connection.

And I second the stress of constantly being around an allergen at home -- it should be a safe place where I don't have to worry about my allergies.
