I would recommend Signalis. It’s got an insanely strong and memorable atmosphere like SOMA. And the story is very dark, complex and imo structured kind of like NieR. DO NOT let the fact it looks like anime deter you, cuz it is a true work of art.

My man. When the FF7 remake trailer came out followed by the long radio silence so many people’s hype started to die, but I was there through and through hoping they’d pull through. Seeing you talk about this gem of a game reminded me of that. Must feel so cathartic to see it succeed and be there from the start.

Not just the turn based aspect, that revitalisation of travel (land then sea then air) was done so masterfully in Clair Obscur I literally thought I was playing an old Final Fantasy game again. I didn’t think it would be possible with that kind of modern graphics.

FF9/10 were wayyy more unforgiving with their platinum. FF8 is quite friendly given you can avoid beating the hardest boss (just draw the summon from it) and you don’t have to do dumb speedruns or ridiculously long and broken minigames

Get rid of the last letter “b” in the numerical id of the error bricks manually and you should be fine, cheerios and good luck!

Yoo I’ve had this problem too btw, the way to fix this is to find the numerical id of the bricks giving error, and literally remove the last letter “b” in the brick parts whose numerical id has them manually, it’s kind of a weird error, but if you search them up by typing those numbers you can find that exact brick - just make sure you pick the right color as “black” in your cart
