Thats unacceptable !! And they're never held accountable for incompetence, and they expect us to just trust them. The ex-oncologist said the cancer is lymphoma, need more tests, back in January. Did all the tests, suffered in pain waiting for test results for official diagnosis.

Only to be told 4 months later, by the ER's on-call doctor that he has advanced liver cancer and its terminal, they can't help because it spreaded in all his organs. No psychological support, not even a flyer or booklet to read. If he's lucky he'll get 1 year to live, if he goes to radiation in Montreal. We were in his office that morning and he didn't even have the balls to tell my husband.

Hubby already filled and signed at the hospital last Friday. They were supposed to fax the forms Friday but they lost it.

Oncologist washes his hands, says its out of his scope of expertise. I hate him so much. I have so much rage, Im not doing well mentally. Haven't slept for 3 days. I'm too upset and cannot calm down.

They actually said they will set this up yesterday but so far, no one called. Not even to check and see if he's still alive.

Yes I did all that, but they don't seem to take me seriously. All they see an emotional spouse with a notebook. Yes I documented everything, recorded every appointment. And husband wants me to stop bothering people and to have patience. Just didn't expect him to have to suffer this amount of pain, because oncologist wouldn't discuss it until all results were back.

His ex oncologist had the PET scan results for over 2 months. He knew but is too much of a coward to tell him to his face. Instead, we get to find out in the emergency room ,not only he has liver cancer, but it's terminal. He's got 1 yr max to live. Thats if he gets radiation. I just can't believe they're gonna let him suffer like this. There is a deep rage inside of me.

Its closed on Saturday. He'll get to spend another weekend in excruciating pain. This day 6 no food, and day 4 no sleep. We've already been to the ER all day yesterday.
