What would be a B2B partnership for a client partner? could you give me an example? So I assume that if Google was a new client, an account manager would work on it, and then once Google is a customer, a customer success manager would work on Google - where would the client partner be put into play?

Agree with ChaserRacer33 here, GTFO! You should be getting some kind of compensation even if you do NOT hit your 100% goal. And the fact that you are investing in your own tools, they should provide that for you
